The Shamanic Worlds, Drumming, Voice & Connection with Nature

This is a provisional programme. The retreat will unfold in harmony with the weather, the needs of the group, and the natural rhythm of the weekend.
Join us for a weekend of deep immersion in nature, shamanic practice, healing and personal transformation.
Surrounded by forest, community, and the spirits of nature and the elements, we will explore the foundations of shamanic journeying, the shamanic worlds, the healing power of drumming and voice, and our profound connection with our Mother Earth.
This retreat is open to both beginners and experienced practitioners who wish to deepen their relationship with shamanic wisdom through direct experience.

Provisional Programme
Friday Evening – Entering the Sacred Space
We begin by gathering around the fire, creating our shared space and setting our intentions for the weekend. Through teachings, drumming and guided journeying, we will begin exploring the Shamanic Worlds and opening the door to deeper states of awareness.
Saturday – Rhythm, Voice and Connection with Nature
The day will include body-based practices, breathwork, movement, drumming, voice work and teachings on shamanic wisdom.
Together we will explore rhythm and sound as gateways to healing, presence and expanded consciousness. There will also be ample time for rest, reflection and connection with the natural environment.
In the evening, we will enter the forest for a deeper ritual of connection with the energies and spirits of nature through listening, drumming and ceremony.
Sunday – Integration and Opening the Heart
Our final day will focus on integration, heart-centred practices, movement, connection and sharing.
There will be time to reflect on the experiences of the weekend, receive guidance through oracle cards, and bring the teachings into everyday life before we close the circle together.
Optional individual shamanic healing sessions (45 minutes – €50) may be available during free time.

Food
During the retreat, we will share simple, nourishing vegetarian meals prepared with care. The food will be organic and wholesome, supporting the body during this immersive experience in nature.
Substance-free space
This is a substance-free retreat. In order to support clarity, presence and deep connection with nature and the group, the use of alcohol, drugs or any psychoactive substances is not permitted during the weekend.
What to Bring
As this retreat takes place entirely outdoors, we recommend bringing clothing and equipment suitable for both warm summer weather and cooler, wetter conditions. The exact needs will depend on the weather forecast closer to the event.
Suggested items include:
- Comfortable clothing for movement and outdoor activities
- Warm layers for evenings around the fire
- Waterproof jacket and weather-appropriate clothing
- If the weather is rainy, waterproof shoes or boots
- Journal and pen
- Water bottle, cutlery, plate, soup bowl and cup
- Drum or rattle (optional)
- Sleeping bag and sleeping equipment
- Tent (if choosing the camping option)

This retreat takes place in a beautiful natural setting with forests, fire circles, covered outdoor spaces and communal gathering areas, allowing nature itself to become an active part of the healing journey.
That said, this experience is designed for people who love nature and appreciate simplicity. It is not a luxury retreat, but rather an authentic immersion in the natural world, where connection, community and direct experience are at the heart of the journey.

About Eirini Sunbird, your facilitator:
Eirini was initiated into Siberian Shamanism 28 years ago and she has been practicing Shamanic Journeying since. She is Greek, based in Brussels, where she is giving workshops on Shamanism, personal development and creativity, as well as organizing shamanic drum meditations and other rituals, in various places and the forest. She also gives personal sessions of shamanic drumming and coaching, and an Online Shamanic Mentorship, The Shamanic Traveller. Although she studied under a Siberian Shaman for many years, her approach to Shamanism is a universal one. Her practice today is enriched by her own experience and informed by other trainings she has had, such as a 3-month Integrative Trauma Therapy training.
